Meet Shiloh
She's about two years old, we think she is a Rat Terrier mix vaccinated, microchipped, and housebroken. She does great with people and is being fostered with other dogs and a kitten she loves and she is a toy hog!
We'll post more pictures and more information as her foster gets to know her. She loves her foster dad!
Shiloh and her mother had been abandoned in a backyard by previous owners. Shiloh's mom was rescued by another rescue. It took about a week for Shiloh to come out of her shell. She picked a corner of the kitchen and stayed there. We just left her alone and made sure to say sweet things to her when we’d walk past. ( we gave her a bed) she finally started venturing out to the living room to see where everyone was. We let her warm up at her own pace. She has come out of her shell and is showing her quirky cute personality. She is a toy hoarder which is very cute to watch her sneak off with them. She absolutely loves the new kitten and I would consider adopting them together. She is snack motivated (chicken or turkey treats). Shiloh is still a bit hand shy but with loving patience I feel she will eventually get over it. At this point in getting to know her she would be great as an only dog with her own kitty or with a family with the patience to teach her to share her human. She has bonded more with my husband. Would flourish better with older children, couple or single looking for a cuddle buddy.
