Tater Basset Hound & Labrador Retriever Mix Sparta, WI

Meet Tater! This 3 (ish)-year-old lil' mutt came to us as a stray and is ready for his new forever home! It's possible that Tater has a handful of breeds mixed into his little body, but our best guesses have included Basset Hound, Labrador and Border Collie. Realistically, your guess is as good as ours--we're going to call him Purebred Cute! Tater is a happy and active little guy who will need plenty of exercise with his new family. Even though he's young, he's not extremely high strung and has a nice mellow personality, so a nice walk every day and some playtime will be perfect for him! An obedience class and lots of structure with his family will be fantastic for him also! He is treat motivated, but also has the nose of a hound and can be easily distracted. Because of this, Tater should be contained at all times when he is outside (via leash, tie-out or fence!). Tater is a good candidate for a family with children as he is very gentle and well mannered.
