Meet CHIP
Chip is an all around great little companion - whether hiking/walking/playing or cuddled up on your lap he is very happy!
Chip is about 2 years of age and only 10 pounds. When he first arrived, he was timid but... since he settled in, he has been a joy to foster. He is an easy dog to care for. In a car, he rides snuggled up on your lap and other times, he rides quietly in his crate. He just goes with the flow.
He is crated trained and there have been no accidents in the house. If you call him 'up' he loves to sit on your lap and he will 'dance' on his hind legs.

He has a perfect recall - "Here Chip" - he comes every time, even out of play! He has learned 'sit' and 'down', and is easily 'corrected' (if needed) with an 'Eh Eh!' at which time he stops what he is doing and comes right to you.
He gets along well with my dog and they enjoy playing in the yard. He has met 3 cats while on a visit to a family members home. They were smelling noses and he was being very cautious of them as they are all bigger than he! He enjoys the outdoors and running after the tennis ball - not always bringing it back but has a blast chasing it! He is so fast! He plays when we ask, otherwise he entertains himself or settles nicely for a nap at your feet. Good boy!
From your lap to the outdoors running and playing or going for a walk - Chip is an all around versatile dog! At 10 lbs and 12" high at his shoulder it's amazing that he easily jumps into the car on his own (to the floor, then to the seat) or right up into the crate where he rides quietly.
Chip has been neutered, heartworm tested (4DX), rabies shot, vaccinated, dewormed, and received flea treatment.
