Scotty Brittany Spaniel & Australian Shepherd Mix Marion, MA

Meet Scotty, a 2 year old male, who's ready to forget the difficulty of his earlier days and move on to enjoy life and love. Scotty's previous owner was not able to care for him. For fun, he likes to take every toy out of the toy boxes and lay around them. While Scotty does fine with cats, he would have to be tested with an individual dog as he can be a little choosy about his dog friends. . He is pretty laid back for a younger guy.
He has a limp sometimes and holds his leg up when he runs. We were told this was due to a previous injury. We have done xrays, but surgery will not heal the old injury. Housetrained, Scotty doesn't have to be crated. He also has a deformed jaw as noticed in the photos, but it doesn't slow him down a bit It it believed to have been caused by the same injury that affected his leg. He has the cutest little whin for when he needs something or has to go outside. He would do ok with older kids. He does ok on a leash but it is a new skill that he's still learning about. He has taken a liking to the outdoors recently. He loves rolling around in wet grass and likes adventures to the pond at his foster home. Scared of first time situations, Scotty does better after that -- like car rides, vet trips and outdoor adventures.
Scotty has been neutered, is up to date with his vaccinations, is heartworm negative and on prevention and is microchipped.
