Clifford is on medical hold while he undergoes life-saving treatment for heartworm disease. He will be ready for a forever home August 10th.

He's Clifford, but not the Big Red Dog! Clifford is a sweet, gentle dog who is a great companion. He loves lounging in the yard and watching all of the outdoor activity; people walking by, birds flying, squirrels doing acrobatics...he just likes to observe! Clifford also loves spending time with his humans. He can be quite the snuggle bug! Clifford has great house manners and is potty trained. Anyone would be lucky to welcome this easy-going boy into their lives!

Clifford is a male Yellow Lab/mix, weighs 47 lbs (but gaining!) and is approximately 3 yrs old. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. Clifford is undergoing life-saving treatment for heartworm disease. He will need to remain on heartworm preventative for life, as is recommended for ALL dogs, and retested in 6 months to ensure he is heartworm free. Adoption fee is $300 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled after your application has been approved. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
