Frankie is a sweet little boy with big brown eyes. He is a very smart little man. However, he takes awhile to feel comfortable when meeting new people and can be protective of his human. He does not bite but will growl. Frankie is very eager to please once he become less anxious and he can be a great little cuddler.
He has had issues in the past which causes separation anxiety and he does not like to be left alone. Frankie needs lots of time in order to gain back his confidence. He is attending basic training right now and further training is strongly recommended.
He loves to play with cats and kittens but does not always like other dogs, especially excitable ones. Frankie does not interact with the resident dog.
He really likes his walks and does well on a leash with no pulling whatsoever.
House training is ongoing and will come with lots of consistency and positive reinforcement.
Frankie is a sweet guy who needs patience and the chance to trust again. Due to his separation anxiety, he would be best in a home where someone is often home. He needs someone who is willing to learn or has experience with training a dog. He would love a home as an only dog where he can soak up lots of love.
If you think you are the person to give little Frankie this chance, please submit your application to www.ckanimalrescue.com. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations and flea/tick prevention.
