Tucker Terrier Mix Normal, IL

Tucker is a 7 year old Terrier mix who weighs about 20 pounds. He's a great little dog. He is very friendly and perfectly housebroken. He gets along with cats and the other dogs that he knows (mostly those that are smaller than he is). If he sees a strange dog he will bark like a terrier. At seven years old he is still very energetic. His ideal owner would be able to take him for at least 1 long walk a day. He would not do well crated all day while someone works. If someone could meet his energy needs, it would be a perfect match! He does settle down in a home - he's not destructive (except liking to pull the stuffing out of toys). He likes to play fetch. He stays contained in a 4 ft fence. He will bark at anyone coming to the door and he can act territorial when he's in a car when someone approaches - but is usually friendly with everyone. He does OK with older children - but may get nippy if they try to take something away from him. Tucker does like sitting in laps and is used to sleeping in a family bed, snuggled with his person.

His minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $12 fee for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
