Cara Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen & Bearded Collie Mix Oak Ridge, NJ

Meet Cara, an unusually adorable one of a kind big little senior looking for a home! This unique 9-10 year old girl was found as a stray and brought to an NJ shelter. She has the long low body of a basset hound and weighs about 50lbs- not sure what breed mix she could be but we have never seen a dog quite like her. She was very scared and shut down in the shelter but her sweet funny personality is starting to emerge. She loves naps and cuddling, little strolls and car rides and gets along with most other gentle dogs. Email njwoof@cs.com if you are interested in meeting her.

We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East, Morris Plains, NJ.
