Meet BRIAN

Brian’s motto: “you’ve got a friend in me!” Brian LOVES everyone and everything (and he’ll show you with kisses!). This fun, loving guy enjoys hanging out on the deck, playing with other dogs and going on long walks. He loves being outside and would be happiest with a fenced yard so he can frolic to his heart's content. He already knows how to sit, shake, and lay down. Such a smart boy! Brian’s foster family is helping him remember to go potty outside. Sometimes he forgets- probably because he lived in a cell where he didn't have a choice but to go potty in it. Consistency and patience is key, and with the help of his adoptive family Brian will get there in no time! He has not lived with cats but he has met them at the vet and was totally indifferent. He says, "what is so great about cats?" However, you'll never hear Brian say that about kids... he LOVES kids! Brian is an awesome dog and he would love to go home with you!

Brian appears to be a mix of Dalmation & Heeler/Cattle Dog. He weighs 60 lbs and is estimated at 1.5 yrs old. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled after your application has been approved. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records. If you are a renter, you must provide landlord contact information. For adoption guidelines and to submit an application, please go to this link: http://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/ You will receive a reply from dollyslegacyadoptions@gmail.com within a few days of application submission, please make sure to check your spam folder if you do not see a reply within a week.
