Ta da....meet Teddy!

Teddy is a stunning green-eyed chocolate medium haired kitten, breed to be determined, :-), who is about 4-5 months old. Teddy lost one of his legs while he was in Qatar and he had a very sad life there until he was rescued by our awesome Qatar friends. As soon as I saw his picture on the Qatar website, I knew he was coming to me and I begged and pleaded until his rescuer Carlotta gave in and let me have him :-).

Teddy is an amazing boy with the sweetest personality. He is not special needs. He gets around just fine and he gets along very well with other cats once he is introduced. He can jump and run and play and have a good time with the best of them :-).

He must go home under our companion cat policy which means he must go to a home with another young cat under the age of 3 or kitten or he must be adopted with another young cat or kitten. No exceptions.

Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states.

Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email.

YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.
