Health
Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered, special needs. ABOVE GROUND FENCE REQUIRED DFW AREA ADOPTERS ONLY Bonded with her brother Zeke they need to be adopted together. Despite her scary beginning in this world, she has come so far with learning that not all people are bad. Still, she is VERY timid and does not like when people approach him. Addie's fearfulness makes it so she will need a very special home. You see, Addie will likely never be a “typical dog”. She struggles with leash training as ALL people can be very intimidating, including the one holding the leash. She also has had difficulty learning basic obedience as most of her training has centered around making her more comfortable with affection from humans. She needs a calm/quiet environment with someone that has the time & patience to work with her. Even with training and patience she may never be a dog that enjoys any type of outings or visits from strangers. A sturdy fence is a must as she will bolt in fear if she hears loud noises and will be unable to be recaptured without the use of a professional trap (trust us on this one)!.
Good in a home with
Other dogs.
Prefers a home without
Cats, children.

Petfinder recommends that you should always take reasonable security steps before making online payments.

While we know Addie is the absolute cutest puppies in the world, don’t let that fool you as she will require a very specific home!

Addie is a female bloodhound that loves to play with other dogs (big and small). She’s quite the chewer and love her toys. She has the goofiest personality and loves to run up behind you and nudge you with her nose. She was found with her siblings, abandoned and afraid in a remote area.

Addie has come very far in her foster home and it is hopeful that she will do well in an adoptive home with time and patience. Due to stress from car travel, we do require any potential adopters to live in the DFW area.
