Beau German Shorthaired Pointer & Brittany Spaniel Mix Yakima, WA

Beau is a 1 and 1/2 year old German Shorthair Pointer/Brittany Spaniel mix. Beau was loved and respectfully cared for by his first family from a pup but, one member of the family was highly allergic to Beau so, he had to give his beautiful dog up. He has entrusted YVPR with finding just the right home for Beau. Beau is altered and utd on all vaccinations and wormers. Beau is very friendly with everyone and lives with cats and dogs and although we have not seen him around children, we think he would do great with kids large enough not to be knocked down by Beau during play time. Play time, Beau loves it! He runs like the wind and loves romping with toys. Beau enjoys long walks and has good recall. He has been hunted over and seems to really enjoy it. He knows basic commands but will need someone who understands the hunting breeds to ensure Beau's mental health. Exercise, Exercise Exercise! Running, long walks, hiking.. lots activity is what will keep this boy happy and healthy and a great companion for a family or someone who can keep up with him. Once Beau has burned of his energy, he is great in the house and would love to curl up on the sofa or bed with his folks and chill out for the evening. Beau is house trained and well behaved inside.
