Meet Foles
Foles is a one year old Maltese/Papillion mix who weighs 9 pounds. He does great on a leash and in a car. He is very playful and loves his toys. He does okay in a crate, but he is happiest with his person. He is an affectionate, loving, low maintenance, lap dog.
At this time, he likes to play "Guard Dog." No biting mind you, but when meeting new people, he reacts in guard dog manner. He does have a quick recovery, and we are working on this behavior. He also reacts to cats, so probably needs a cat free home.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers and we require a home check for each of our adoptable pets prior to them going to their new homes, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family further than 60 miles from Charlotte is responsible for finding a representative of a rescue local to them that is willing to perform the home check. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as the application is approved.***
