Shari Shiba Inu Manassas, VA

Shari is a small sesame female Shiba Inu who was adopted out by DC SIR when just a young puppy; now 4.5 years old she finds herself back with DC SIR and so thankful to have a wonderful place to come back to! She’s been kept on the raw diet and minimal vaccination protocol, so she looks really good! She’s been living with two other Shiba Inus, but over the years hasn’t been around other dogs; recently she started getting into fights with the other Shibas in the house. Her mom’s life changed and she is no longer able to care for Shari so she reached out to DC SIR. Her old DCSIR foster mom decided to work with Shari and worked to integrate her back with a friendly group of Shibas rather than placing her in a no-dog home; after several hours of slow, controlled and positive introductions, she was integrated with many dogs. DC SIR always emphasizes experienced, reward-based trainers for any behavior modification and she may have a training contract for her adoption as well.
