Meet Hannah! Hannah is a sweet, beautiful, playful 1 year old female Australian Shepherd mix. She was rescued from the shelter by the office manager at our vet's office, after being there for 3+ months. When she approached her cage, Hannah turned her head sideways and pressed her face against the bars so she could reach her better for pets. Once she was out of the cage, she plastered herself to her! After a few minutes, she began to dance around and wag her little nub of a tail like crazy.

Hannah is very sweet, and has a soft, very plush coat. She is still very puppy-like in her mannerisms, and can be bouncy, but at a petite 35 pounds, it's not too bad! We suspect she has a lot of pent up energy, and will be working with her to burn some of it off! She did get nervous during her vetting, but responded very well to reassurance, and was trying to crawl into the tech's lap by the time we were done. Hannah would benefit from a basic obedience course, which we recommend for all of our dogs, especially the young ones.

Hannah met several of the other dogs at the clinic, and did well with them, She really just wants to PLAY! She did show a little interest in the clinic cat, but a bat to the nose discouraged that pretty quickly.

Hannah is up to date on routine vaccinations, heartworm/flea/tick preventative, and has been microchipped and spayed.

Hannah's adoption fee is $475, which covers all her vetting, preventatives, fostering costs and other associated expenses. We do not adopt to anyone under the age of 21.
