Meet Marley
Marley is a handsome 8 year old German Shepherd that came to UAAF from a local shelter. He was very underweight and sad at the time, but is now doing fantastic in his foster home!
This amazing guy has an old injury to his back knee, so will need medication for the rest of his days to help with the pain from arthritis. At this time the meds are only given to him if he seems painful or uncomfortable. No worries! He still enjoys short walks and playtime with his humans.
Marley does amazing with all females dogs, and is okay with submissive male dogs. We are not sure how he would be with kitties. But of course this beautiful fella is good with humans and older children.
He is house trained and crate trained! He's obviously a really good boy who is very sweet and very well behaved.
Long story short from his foster Mom:
"Howdy, my name is Marley and I'm a total ladies man. I do like the men too, of course, but the ladies are my favorite. I'm an 8 year old neutered German Shepherd. My foster mom says I'm a "Dream Boat" because I'm such a good boy. I'm easy going and just SO eager to please. I'm house broken and crate trained. I love playing with my foster sisters, but I don't get too wild. I can be a little selective with Alpha male dogs, but the girls are okay to boss me around. I'm healthy and have just a little arthritis on one of my back legs. Kids are great too??. I love my foster home, however a Forever Home is my dream. I promise you won't regret taking a chance on me??. Paws Bless You, Marley?????"
Marley has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, tested negative for heartworm, and is also micro chipped. He also had bloodwork done and recently had a dental.
