Chuckie was pulled from Animal Control (picked up as stray, unclaimed) the day before Thanksgiving. He is a very confident little boy, somewhat full of himself, unaware that he is small when encountering other dogs. Very sweet and loving with people. Would happily be someone's lap dog. One year old. Love to play ball and does back flips when excited. Adoption fee $100. Adoption of all dogs/cats requires an approval process to ensure that they are going into a home committed to their care and safety. Each is placed with same due diligence that they would be given if they were our own furry family members. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter which provides quality care, spay/neuter-all vaccines, deworming, vet exam, standard disease testing and for dogs-monthly heart worm prevention treatment. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are primarily owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
Adoption hours are Tues-Sat 10-4 and Sun 1-4. Closed Mondays
