Kenai Husky & Alaskan Malamute Mix Auburn, CA

Kenai is an absolutely stunning dog, believed to be a ~4 year old Husky/Malamute mix.

This boy is truly something special! He is young at heart and he always makes us happy just by being himself. He is a friendly, outgoing, confident, silly, and full of life and personality! Kenai loves people and is super affectionate. He is very receptive and attentive and takes direction very well. Kenai is active and has some fantastic energy! He enjoyed his bath and really liked his brushing, so much so that he jumps up on the grooming table when the brush comes out! This boy is so nice and is going to make someone so happy.

Kenai weighs 60 pounds, has the clearest blue eyes, a contagious smile and a dreamy thick coat. He has gotten along well with other dogs at the shelter (as always we recommend proper matches and introductions). We aren’t sure how he is with cats. Kenai is neutered (scheduled to be neutered, will be before going home), microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and heartworm negative.

Kenai has prominent breed characteristics and needs, so he would need an owner who has experiences or knowledge of his breed(s) or similar breeds. This includes his need for activity, mental and physical, and his attachment to people.
