Margot Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler & Shepherd Mix Kansas City, MO

This tri-colored beauty is Margot. She is a happy, wiggly, 4 year old, 80 pound, cattle-dog mix. She is so sweet and her tail hardly stops wagging! Margot finds herself looking for a forever home - through no fault of her own. She was surrendered by her owner after he could no longer care for her due to serious medical issues.

Margot loves to play outside with dogs and humans, go on walks, play with squeaky toys and cuddle as much as possible. She loves her canine foster sister and enjoys running along the fence with the neighbor dogs. She is smart and loving and was clearly well-cared for by her previous owner!

Margot would make the perfect companion for any family. Here are some other things to know about her:
**house trained
**comes when called
**knows basic commands (sit, lay down, etc.)
**does well in her crate
**Cat tolerant - does ok with cats, but not very familiar. Would need someone who is willing to work with the two
**non-destructive
**waits patiently at the door to be let out
**medium energy - up for anything, but takes long naps on her bed!
**minds her manners and doesn't beg at the table
