Meet Piper

Piper was brought to the HUA shelter when her beloved person passed away and she had nowhere to go. She was a little scared and shy when she first arrived, unsure about her new surroundings. Her friend Casey came in with her and he gave her comfort as they became familiar with this new place. Piper is now a very happy, very loving, very pretty girl who lights up when visitors arrive. She loves her caregivers and zooming around the yards with her favorite toys. She knows some basic commands and will sit when asked, but Piper would rather be running and playing. Unfortunately, Piper does not get along with other dogs except for Casey, so she must either be an only child or be adopted with Casey. Except for her salty behavior toward other pups, Piper is a wonderful girl who would love to be in a home with an active family looking for an all-around great dog.
