Meet Wrangler aka Big Dog *PENDING*

How yall doin?! Im here lookin for a family to call my own, but Im guessin you wanta know a few things bout me first.
Are you wonderin how I got my name? Im sure you noticed I got this dark coat that covers my whole back, and in the huntin world, they call that a saddle back, so my foster mama said Wranglers and saddles just go together.
Wanta know about my breed, age, and personality? See, I am just a big ole fun-lovin treein walker around 2 years old. My foster mama says Im a sweet boy with a lot to offer a family. I really like lovin on those two-legged critters in my foster home especially those things yall call teenagers. My teenager is super sweet and has a real comfy bed. She snuggles with me a lot as you can see from my pictures. I also like the four-legged canine pals too.
Need to know about my house trainin and crate trainin? So far, Im not mindin the crate. I have had a few accidents in the house, but my foster mama is workin real hard to help me learn the routine. She thinks Im real smart and will have it down in no time.
Are you wonderin why I cannot go to my new home until mid-November? Well, unfortunately, I tested positive for heartworm and am undergoin treatment. Do not worry though...once I finish this up, I will be one healthy pup!
Do you wanta know about my kinda family? My perfect family would give me all the lovin I ask for plus a warm bed and a full belly. I would also like to have an active family, who takes me on all kinds of adventures. Maybe we could even go wrangle some cattle or somethin?!

UPDATE 10/3
Hey yall! Just thought I would stop in and give you some updates. Things are goin well with my heartworm treatment. I will definitely be as good as new in no time. I also want to let you know that I am gonna need a family who understands that I am just a big ole puppy, so I will need a family who is patient and makes sure I have some outlets for my energy like at the dog park or goin for walks and/or runs. I am great with other dogs, and I think an active playmate would be good for me too! I have a big personality with so much to offer a family. Could your family be my perfect match?!
My adoption fee is $250, which includes up-to-date on vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip. If you have questions about me or the adoption process, please visit www.houndsong.com and fill out an adoption application. Applications must be completed in order to potentially meet the dog you are interested in.
