Meet Shelby

Hi my name is Shelby - that's right I have a name now. After spending 7 yrs in a puppy mill with no name I'm finally free and learning what life is all about beyond making puppies. I love laying in a comfy bed and surrounding myself with toys - they remind me of my babies and keep me feeling safe. I'm doing quite well going for walks on a leash. I have a foster dog brother and sister and they have been welcoming and we all get along with out issue. I love people and affection - you could pet me all day long and that would be just fine. Everything is new to me but I'm doing my best to adjust. I need a home that will be patient with me as I continue to learn house training and all things new in the world. I'm completely vetted and have been professionally groomed and looking even prettier than when I arrived. If you're looking for a cocker spaniel girl that fits this description please complete an application and my foster mom will get back to you and tell you even more.

Before applying for this dog, please think the decision over thoroughly and make sure the whole family is in agreement. Owning a dog is a huge responsibility that is not something that should be rushed into. Each dog from Rescued Treasures has been saved from an uncertain future. If you are thinking about adopting, please remember it is a LIFE-LONG commitment. Dogs can live to be at least 14 years old...are you ready to take care of him/her that long?
