Meet Luke

Hi, my name is Luke! I am an outgoing young fellow, approximately 8 months old. I came to the shelter when my owner could no longer care for me.

I am a sweet, playful boy. I have a high prey drive and will harm small animals and livestock (and possibly cats), so I am looking for a home without those. I did have experience around other dogs in my last home and was said to be okay with them. I would do well in a home where I am exercised daily. I will need more training in my future home for general manners. I can get over-excited and mouthy around children, and am looking for a home with no children under 10.

If you're interested in me, please email the shelter and ask for an application. Staff takes applications for all the dogs to find us homes that suit our individual needs. I am up to date on my vaccines (rabies, DAPP, leptosporisis, bordatella) and micro-chipped too. My adoption fee is $200 (+ $20 county dog license, if residing within Jefferson County).
