Amelie Maltese & Jack Russell Terrier Mix Santa Ana, CA

Amelie is about a year old and weighs 8 pounds. She was roaming a neighborhood in the Inland Empire for 2 months, neighbors fed her and gave her water but no one was able to take her in or find her owner. Finally one of the neighbors called us to take her in. She was initially very shy, but she warms up quickly. She loves playing with other dogs. She has a submissive and gentle personality. She is crate-trained and we are working on leash-training. She would do great in a home with a medium activity level. She has not been cat-tested.

If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and return it via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Upon receipt AND approval, the dog you are interested in meeting will be made available to meet on a Saturday. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION AND BE APPROVED. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster parent. Please understand that private appointments will be coordinated to meet the convenience of the foster parent/transporter. We cannot hold dogs, please submit your application when you are ready to adopt.

All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, core vaccinations (rabies and 2 sets of distemper/parvo), fecal testing and deworming. Adoption fees vary solely based on age and size.
