Meet Gadget
Gadget is a sassy senior Toy Manchester surrendered to a Texas shelter when the owner went into a nursing home. Estimated to be 11 or 12 years old, Gadget is small girl, weighing about 8 pounds. Her small size doesn't stop her from having a big personality. Because she's so small, Gadget can be reactive around bigger, rambunctious dogs and would be happiest in a home with a low key male dog or where she is an only pet.
She loves being where her humans are, and follows us everywhere, but she’s also happy gnawing on her chewy bone or snuggling up on our lap. Gadget isn’t a high energy dog but she does like to explore outside, so a fenced yard or leash is necessary when she’s out.
We have been working on housetraining and she is doing well. She may need paper or potty pads inside if she’s not able to go out for pee breaks every couple of hours.
