Meet Honey Mustard (Zoey)

ZOEY's story: ZOEY is a white Miniature Poodle who had a tough start in life. She was found as a stray covered in fleas and ticks with a coat so matted it covered her eyes. A kind person picked her up and brought her in to a local city shelter where she was spayed and while under anesthesia it was discovered that she had a foxtail embedded in her eyeball and a cherry eye that needed surgical repair to boot! ZOEY was given the necessary surgery by the kind vet at the shelter and then became available to rescue for post-surgery care.
ZOEY came to us a bit of a mess, but after a summer shave cut and spa day at the groomer, she is beautiful. She has pretty, brown-soulful eyes and a soft, minimal-shedding coat. ZOEY is playful, likes naps and enjoys being petted. She’s really a great little girl. While she is fine meeting other dogs once trust is established and sharing a play area, she would prefer to be the only diva-baby of the house. Lol!
ZOEY is 2 yrs., 12 lbs, spayed, microchipped and all shots up to date. Adoption includes a nice care package.
