Meet Micki
Howdy! My name is Micki, and I have an outstanding proposition for you: what do you think about adopting not one, but two amazing, affectionate BFFs to spend your life with? My sister from another mister Mouse and I are looking for a forever home together and are available for adoption through Fetching Tails Foundation. I am a ridiculously good looking 3-year-old, 12-pound Pekingese mix: I am a rich caramel color, with silky flowing locks and a smile that will melt even the coldest heart. My best accessory is my bestie Mouse: she is a teeny tiny (only 7 pounds!) wire terrier mix with hair as white as snow. I think we complement each other really well, don't you? I know, I know, looks shouldn't matter, but since we have such great personalities, too, I think it is ok to humbly suggest that with us by your side, we could be the best looking family in the neighborhood!
Mouse and I were saved from Chicago Animal Care & Control through the CRISP program. When our previous owners brought us there because they could no longer take care of us, we hit the jackpot and go to go home with the president of Fetching Tails instead of inside the big, busy shelter! Our foster home is pretty awesome: we get to lounge around the yard and go for lots of long walkies with our foster parents. I love going for walks and always wear my big signature grin while strutting down the sidewalk. When we are not enjoying the great outdoors, we love to lounge around the house and follow our foster mom around. I am a little more independent than Mouse, and while she will gladly stay in our human's lap all the time if given the chance, I prefer to seek out attention when I want some cuddles but will let my humans know that I am ready for some me time and personal space, as well.
So what do you think? Do you want to give a loving forever home to two sweet, calm, loving little dogs? Two dogs are better than one anyway, right? Right! And if you already have pets, that is fine, too, because Mouse and I get along well with dogs of all sizes and even kitty cats! We sound pretty amazing, don't you think? You know you want to reach out to our foster mom and tell her we are the dogs for you. Just do it! Mouse and I can't wait to start our happily ever after with you!
Love,
Micki
