Sparky *PENDING ADOPTION Poodle Mix West Bloomfield, MI

Hi Everyone! My name is Sparky and I'm a poodle mix who is around 4 years old. I never thought I would be homeless, but in April my parents had to surrender me to the animal control because they had some serious medical problems. I was in a terrible state- hadn't been groomed, wasn't up to date on vaccines and totally scared!! But the sweet people at PAAW took me under their wings and now I'm doing so much better! I got a fancy hair cut and bath, all my shots and I've got a clean bill of health!

I love to play fetch and take walks. And boy do I love the outdoors! Sometimes I don't want to come in when my foster mom calls, but she understands that I can't get enough of the fresh air. I am good with other dogs but I tend to chase cats so would prefer a home without them. I'm also not too fond of smaller children.

I'm still learning some obedience training and commands, so I'll need an owner who is patient but very firm. Bonus if you are active and have a lot of energy because as I mentioned- I LOVE TO PLAY!

I'd love to find a permanent home, where I will be loved forever and doted on. I will always want your attention and will count on your petting and snuggles to know that I am loved.
