Meet Margot
This is Margot, the husky that the Carroll County Pound originally trapped. We pulled her from the pound after which she jumped out of her foster home's second story window. Many thanks to Ramona Hartleban, she re-trapped Margot for us.
It has been a long road with Margot but she is ready for placement!! Margot has been fully vetted, is now engaging both dogs and people in play. She wants to love and to be loved. Margot is crate trained, and is having no issues in house with her potty habits though we are very vigilant.
We will only place her in a home with another husky and a physically fenced yard; either privacy fencing or welded wire as she had climbed the chain link in the foster home. Lastly the adopter must be willing to crate her, in a crate, not a cage when not at home or if they are preoccupied. This is for Margot's own safety, until she learns the rythms of her new home. Margot LIKES her crate, it is her safe place in our home.
