There is something hilariously alluring about a dog with such an expressive face -- eyebrows, a smile, ears that practically wave hello... Meet Ale! This cheery shepherd mix pup was originally rescued from the Dominican Republic with the help of our friends at @globalstrays. She is about 5 months old, 15 lbs, and will probably be in the 30s weight wise full grown. Ale is a little shy at first, probably because she's still adjusting to NYC living, but she is a total sweetheart and warming up to all the sites and sounds pretty quickly. Ale is great with other dogs, very smart, learns quickly, and loves to cuddle. She would do best in a medium active to active home and will be a true blue companion for a very lucky dog lover. *If the animal adopted is too small at the time of adoption to have been altered or has been temporarily waived from surgery due to a medical condition and has not yet been altered because of the medical condition at the time of adoption, we ensure all adopted animals are altered within six months of adoption. (This is included in the adoption fee.)
