Flash Schnauzer & Terrier Mix Rochester, NY

Flash is a 1-2 year old mixed breed. We suspect he is part schnauzer, about 30 lbs. Flash was surrendered to a shelter. Reportedly his first owner became sick and could no longer care for him. Flash was very scared and stressed at the shelter. Once he moved into a foster home we were able to see what a great dog he is. He knows sit, down, stay, and walks well on a leash. He is also nice to cats!
Flash is a nervous dog- loud noises and fast movements startle him. He is friendly with other dogs, and does enjoy playing with them at times, but he is mostly interested in being with his human. He is never far away- and loves all kinds of attention- the more the better! He will display jealousy when other dogs in the home are getting attention, he will whine and cry until he is acknowledged again. We think Flash would be happiest as an only dog- the center of attention, in a home where people can spend a lot of time with him. He prefers females... he will warm up to males, but definitely gravitates to the females in the home.
