Mister Dachshund & Beagle Mix Chicago, IL

As of 4/13, Mister will be at our Adoption Center. Please submit an application and then come by during open hours to meet him.

This adorable guy is about 7 years old and loves to be near his humans! He seems just fine with other dogs too (though some large/exuberant dogs may be too much for him) but people are really what he's into. Mister is a really engaging guy who enjoys getting head scratches, sitting pretty for a treat, and then laying by your feet for some down time. He still has a playful streak but is a mostly chill dude so he'd do just fine even if you have a more laid back lifestyle.

Mister isn't great at being left alone and does tend to bark when flying solo so would do best either in a single family home or with a family that is home a fair amount. He doesn't see to have any destructive tendencies, but simply may annoy neighbors with his barking if he were to be left alone in an apartment setting for a traditional work day.
