Meet Sophie

Introducing the one, the only Sophie! Sophie is a 6 month old neutered female Black and Tan Coonhound. Sophie arrived at our shelter as a stray in March. We have found Sophie is a typical vocal hunting dog and she loves people! Since Sophie is still a puppy, she would benefit from some basic obedience training. Did we mention she is treat motivated? That will be a big help with her training! We recommend children living with Sophie be age 6 or older. Since Sophie can be a bit vocal, we do not recommend apartment living for this girl. If interested in adopting Sophie, please call or stop in our shelter for more info during open business hours and connect with a staff member familiar with our dogs. A completed adoption application is needed to meet Sophie. Adoption applications are available at lebanonhumane.org or here at our shelter. A meet and greet is required for any human or canine siblings.
