Jacob Pit Bull Terrier Mix Port Townsend, WA

Hi, my name is Jacob! I am approximately 1.5 - 2 years old. I came to the shelter after being found wandering as a stray.
I am a nice boy, though I am nervous at first with strangers. I like my walks on the leash, and love treats! I am interested in small animals, but with a slow introduction, should get along just fine with other animals in a new home. I am looking for a home with dog-experienced people in a quiet home (no young children under 3).

I recently had a meet and greet where I got to meet another dog off leash, and would enjoy a home with another dog friendly dog!

When I arrived staff noticed my hair had been shaved off. Contrary to how I look in my pictures right now, I will have medium-length hair that will likely need regular brushing (but it's likely not long enough that it actually requires shaving/grooming).
I am up to date on my rabies and DAPP vaccines, and micro-chipped too.
My adoption fee is $120 (+ $20 county dog license fee, if residing in Jefferson County). If you're interested in me, please email staff and ask for an application. Staff takes applications for all the dogs to find us homes that suit our individual needs.
