Meet Mona

MONA IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION SHE IS IN A COZY FOSTER HOME

Please welcome new Foster Parents Vantz and Jessika! Their contact # is 208 371--0118 or 208 570-5841 for additional information about Mona.

Mona has been a volunteer favorite. Here is her previous information.
BBBR Volunteer Shelley says: were out looking for her human Dad on Father's Day but did not find him. She is so smart. She knows sit, shake, stay! What a sweetheart!????

Check out her kitty test: https://youtu.be/N2oTp0iViK0

Thank you to BBBR Volunteer Gary for transporting her and to BBBR Boarding Facility Coordinator Jennifer for opening her home for the kitty test.

BBBR Volunteer Tracy took Mona to training at Good Citizen Dog and said she is a sweetheart. Dog Trainer Lou agrees and
asked the rescue to please accept her. BBBR Boarding Facility Coordinator Jennifer and Volunteer Photographer Brittany said the same thing....that is quite a consensus! Mona will be transported to All Valley Resort as soon as a volunteer is recruited.
BBBR Volunteer Kathy took her to Dog Training at Good Citizen Dog Training Sat and she did very well. Kathy says: What can I say about Mona!

What a doll. Mona has been at the shelter for a while. Please stop and have a look, she is a keeper!

A Petite Firecracker?
A Pibble Kisses Machine?
A Wiggly, Talkative, Fart in a Frying pan?
How about just a sweet, vivacious little girl.
The last couple of dogs I have taken to training have been big, lugubrious male dogs, who fall asleep in the backseat and never reach an energy level above fat cat. Which I love, don't get me wrong! But what a pleasure to have a bright, curious driving companion. Although after school she did curl up for a nap. School is hard work! Mona's energy level is just right, not too much, not a slug. She has a beautiful dark brindle coat and chocolate brown eyes. She has a jaunty tail-set up over her back.

Mona knows her Sit, Down, Shake really well. She is so bright, I bet it wouldn't take any time to successfully train her to accomplish many other tasks. Her issue is, that she is often alert or easily distracted. Getting her to focus on you is challenging. I think she just needs more exposure to the world at large. Leash skills are passable, but she does cross in front from time to time. As I was taking her out of the shelter, we had a chance to walk by a cat behind glass. She did not rush the cat, but there was certainly heightened focus.
