Meet Kona
Meet Kona, one of our new rescue arrivals! At seven years young, this Dachshund / Chihuahua mix came to us after being picked on by the cats and dog in his previous home. Poor little Kona was scared and intimidated by his canine and feline roommates, and is now eager to start the search for a forever home where he can finally let loose and relax. This friendly fellow is quick to approach new people for a little petting or a belly rub, and will show you how happy he is with adorable grunts! When Kona isn’t kissing you or enjoying a cuddle, his tail wags endlessly as he tries to earn treats (one of his favorite things). Kona is eager to learn and takes verbal correction well. Kona would prefer a home with humans ages 14 and up, and would love an active family that will let him share in some safe fun in the great outdoors (always on leash, of course)!
