Meet Thorin - Foster Needed
Happy, bouncy and playful are just some great words to describe this active boy!
Unfortunately, shortly after coming to us Thorin hurt his knee and is now waiting to have surgery.
Once he has had his knee surgery we are looking to find him a placement that is able to help him through his recovery period. This will mean kennel rest, short pee strolls and some strengthening therapy. It also means finding different ways to keep this young guy entertained without over doing it physically while he is healing!!
Once he has recovered this boy will be good as new and ready to really start his life in his new home! Thorin has settled in and is starting to show his true colours. We feel he would be best as an only dog! We think anyone over 12 or 13 would be great, but anyone smaller might just get barrelled over by this rambunctious dude!
If you are looking for a giant size “lap” dog that drools at the thought of food (or even water for that matter!!) who will be your boon companion, look no further, Thorin is waiting for you!!!
Our adoption fee is $319.20 (including tax) for all dogs/puppies. Our sweet senior dogs 7+ year olds) are $97.44 to adopt. ALL adoptions include the spay/neuter, first set of shots, microchip and a free vet check! Hours for adoption viewings are Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am until 6 pm. Please be advised that most of our dogs are strays, so we typically do not have background history on them. To meet any our pets, please visit the Vancouver Animal Services Shelter at 1280 Raymur Avenue in East Vancouver, or call 604-871-6885
