Hi, my name is Rudy! I am an older boy, approximately 12 years old. I arrived here after I was found wandering the streets.

I am a sweet boy who likes humans. I am currently in foster care, shadowing my foster mom, so I am not available for viewing at the shelter at this time. I arrived rather skinny and am currently working on gaining some weight.

I enjoy car rides and going for strolls on the leash. When I'm happy, such as at meal time, I do a little dance (spin in circles). I can be nervous at first with strangers, and am seeking a home with no children under 8. I would do best in a quiet home with a routine. I am hoping to be an only dog in my new home, as I don't always appreciate the company of other dogs (I don't seem bothered by the cats at the shelter though). I do not like being crated.

I just had a dental cleaning, am up to date on my vaccines (including the rabies vaccine), and I'm micro-chipped too. My adoption fee is $120 (+ $20 county dog license if residing within Jefferson County).
