Comet-A Special Little Dog-ADOPTED! Shih Tzu & Poodle Mix Union Grove, WI

Comet has a very sad story to tell; left abandoned on a Chicago sidewalk in a downpour, he was found by a passerby that picked up his soaked to the bone, heavily matted little body where Comet collapsed in his arms. Upon arrival at Chicago Animal Care and Control it was noted that Comet was unable to walk. Placed up for Rescue, sadly no one stepped forward and he was scheduled for euthanization that evening when Tiny Paws stepped up.

A trip to Buffalo Grove Specialists resulted in a diagnosis of a severed spinal cord with no surgery option. Back to Wonder Lake where Comet has been monitored closely by Amira and staff, it has been determined he is ready for a safe, new home to call his own.

Tiny Paws is looking for a home that is experienced with wheel carts and understands that ownership of Comet means daily bathing, diapering and offering a lot of LOVE. Comet is very forgiving given the AWFUL Humans that were in his life. He appears very interested in play with another dog friendly dog, loves lap time and anxious for daily walks. Comet is between 2 and 4 years old and weighs around 12 pounds. Adoption Fee is $300 for this sweet little Guy.
