Say hello to BJ, one of our new rescue arrivals! At 8 years young, this handsome little guy came from an out of state breeder and cannot wait to spend the next 8 years (or more!) in a forever home of his very own! Fiercely independent and confident, BJ loves to indulge his curiosity in new surroundings by exploring with a tail up in the air and a brave, self-assured little strut. BJ also recently conquered an elephant (okay, it was a plushy toy one, but…) and loves affection on his own terms, much like a cat (but don’t dare mistake him for one). Among BJ’s favorite things are treats (which he oddly loves to rub on – again, like a cat) and playing chase with people. Because BJ can be a little head shy with touch and due to his size, he would benefit best from a home with people 16 years old and older, yet a canine companion would be just fine with him to help keep the boredom and loneliness away!
