Noah Hound & Shepherd Mix Chicago, IL

Noah is, in a word, amazecellent. At about 50 lbs, he's a medium sized dog with a big old lazy dog's personality. He is content laying on the floor to be close to you, wherever you are, but prefers to sleep on the couch by himself instead of crowding the bed. His tail goes wild with joy when meeting new people and other dogs, but he takes signals quickly and gives other pups their space, unless invited to play. He walks well on leash and rarely ever barks, even when other dogs are barking near him. He's eager to sit and shake for treats, calm and quiet when crated, and lays by the door to let you know he needs to go out. He can be nervous and a little stubborn getting in the car or kennel but once you've gotten him in he's fine. Noah is currently enjoying the company of two other dogs in his foster home and can certainly join a home with other pups, but would be perfectly happy as an only pet as well.
