Pokey American Bulldog & Wirehaired Terrier Mix Chicago, IL

We're not exactly sure what breeds this glorious creature is, but we know she is one in a million! At about 10 weeks old, Pokey (and her sister, Fergie) is a playful, silly, sassy pup. She is a rockstar at sleeping through the night and, given enough opportunities, she generally potties outside. Pokey shares her foster home with Fergie and three adult dogs and she is social and engaging with them. Pokey is a bold pup and though she definitely has a snuggly side too, she can often be found playing and exploring the world around her. Pokey is also big into naps and has a play hard, snooze hard kind of attitude.

She'll be a great fit for apartment or single family living and will thrive in a home where she can continue to get lots of positive attention, puppy training, and all that other good stuff that will result in her being a spectacular adult.

We anticipate Pokey will be a medium adult (maybe 40-50 lbs?) but since this is just a guess, she'll need to go to a home where there are no weight restrictions in the building. As of 10/28 she'll be spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and a resident of our Adoption Center.
