Lucinda (Lucy) Husky Mix Acworth, GA

3 years old, 50 pounds. Lucy is as sweet and smart as she is beautiful. She is young and playful. She loves to play with the other dogs and will dart back and forth tempting them to chase her. She is good with her toys and will put them in the other dogs face to play. She goes in her crate on command and sleeps all night. She has been completely housebroken. Lucy is a very active dog and will require someone who exercises a lot or is willing to go outside and play with her in a fenced area. She can jump a short fence so a 6 FOOT FENCE REQUIRED or leash walking. She gets very excited to get love and although we are working on her keeping all four feet on the ground when you pet her, she loses her mind when she see's her favorite volunteer here and is just a huge wiggle butt.

Lucy can not go with small kids. She has been abused and I don't know how she would handle small kids pulling on her or getting in her face. She was not a fan of having he collar touched when we first got her but we have worked on this and she is fine how. She will need some training b/c she is very busy on a leash and although she listens well, sits, goes in her crate when called, etc, she is hyper. She's a husky mix. That's what you get when you put Husky in there. LOL

All dogs are fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered and Heartworm negative unless otherwise noted. We require an adoption application, home visit and adoption fee of $200 ($150 for senior).
