Are you looking for that ONE true love? Look no further than Sammi, a 5-6 year old American Bulldog who is brimming with devotion and adoration for her people. She has been living in a caring foster home waiting patiently for a special someone to sweep her off of her feet. Sammi is a plus size gal with a plus size personality. She is everything you could want in a lady- impeccable manners, snuggly affectionate, light-hearted, loyal, curvaceous and bodacious. Despite her plentiful size (115 lbs), she never tries to take advantage and is truly a gentle giant. While she does enjoy the company of children, we think she would do better in a home with children 12 and older because of her size. Sammi is 100% housebroken, crate trained, and knows all of her basic commands (sit, down, shake). Like so many of us in our youth, she has struggled with the strife of trying to fit in with her peers. With the help of her foster parents and a world-renowned trainer, she has come to terms with the fact that she is a dog who absolutely CANNOT live with or interact with other dogs, cats or other animals. Sammi is in a beautiful class all by herself and she is longing for a forever someone to embrace all of her wonderful qualities and celebrate her achievements. She is a survivor- having endured life on the streets and also recovering from a lumpectomy to remove two large mammary tumors which are common in American Bulldogs. Sammi just wants to be your one singular sensation so you can absorb the generous outpouring of love and affection she will shower upon you. This gal has so much life left in her and we know there's a home out there that will love her as much as everyone else does who meets her.
