Paprika Basset Hound & Beagle Mix Normal, IL

Hi, I'm Paprika, an 8-year old Basset Hound/Beagle mix. I weigh about 47 pounds. My owners were moving and couldn't take me along, so I came to the shelter. I'm a very friendly girl. Don't let my age fool you; I'm spunky and I love to play and look out the windows on car rides. Now all I need is a forever home. Paprika would do best living in a home with no other dogs and no children under the age of 12 years old. She can be aggressive with food and toys sometimes.

Paprika's foster dad had this to say about her:

"Paprika is a big sweetheart and loves attention from people. She has been defensive of food, treats, and even the water bowl toward our other dogs (not people), but otherwise gets along very well and fit right in as one of the pack. Paprika enjoys car rides, following you around all day, and she does pull a little on the leash. She would do well in any environment."

My minimum adoption donation is $145 plus a $10 fee for rabies registration with McLean County Animal Control.

I have been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and am on flea and heartworm preventatives.
