Meet Seeley
Seeley is a cuddly and gorgeous two year old dog, and all he wants to do is be loved and show his human companions that he loves them back. He loves people from the moment he meets them. In fact, there's not much that he DOESN'T love; he even went back for thirds when he first tried lime juice! If you give the guy an ice cube, he'll freak out for a few seconds and then munch it right down.
Seeley is outstanding with sharing his toys, has never had any biting tendencies, and is excellent with kids. He's a bit protective of his human companions and takes a long time to warm up to other dogs, but he only has good intentions. Seeley is extremely well-trained, and has no complaints when you tell him to sit, lay down, stay, hush, or go to his crate.
If he could talk we're pretty sure this is how he'd describe himself:
"Hey! I'm Seeley, and I can't wait to meet you! I'm only two years old, but I want to be your best friend forever. It might take a few minutes for me to warm up to you, but once I do, I'll never stop loving you. I'll listen to anything you say to me as long as you let me play with (and innocently destroy) all of my favourite toys! You should know that I'm really different from all the other dogs you've met. While other dogs stay far away from lime juice, I go back for thirds! While other dogs chase squirrels, I just like to watch them from the window. And while other dogs like to give humans some space, all I want to do is cuddle up with you and be your blanket. I might be a bit big for a lap dog, but I know that you'll love snuggling up with me as much as I like snuggling with you. If you’re looking for a best friend and cuddle buddy, then I’m the perfect dog for you!
Seeley is being fostered in Framingham.
The adoption fee is $300.
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
