Sammy--I'm an Adoption Center Dog! Poodle & Spaniel Mix Chicago, IL

This happy guy has plenty to smile about these days! He recently joined our rescue, got a much needed groom (as you can see in photo #3), landed himself a fabulous foster home, and is now available for some lucky forever family!

Sammy can be a bit shy at first and (sadly) sometimes cowers when you first go to pet him, but within moments he's your best friends and ready for some serious snuggles sessions. In addition to being lovely with people, he also seems to like the company of other dogs and can certainly go to a forever home with other friendly pets.

Though Sammy does sometimes mark his territory in new situations (we're hoping his neuter on 5/26 remedies that!), he otherwise seems to be housebroken and has a nice energy level too. Sammy is friendly with people of all ages but we'd like to find him a home with kiddos age 10+ just since he can be a little timid at first and we want to make sure he feels safe and secure!

This cutie is approximately 3 years old, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and will be neutered and microchippped. His adoption fee is $250 and as of 5/27 he'll be a resident of our Adoption Center!
