Tobi--I'm an Adoption Center Dog! Poodle Mix Chicago, IL

Sweet Tobi is a 6-7 year old poodle mix. He is a great little dog with a calm and gentle demeanor, is well mannered, and completely housebroken! With other dogs he is curious and friendly but not really looking to engage in play; he could certainly live with another friendly/chill dog but will also do just fine flying solo.

Some of Tobi's favorite things including cuddling, lounging around, and looking out the window during car rides. This little guy found himself at a shelter when his family no longer had the time for him (even though he's a low maintenance guy!) but they reported that he had lovely household behavior and was left alone during the day with free roam of the house and never had any issues.

Though the behavior never manifested in a home environment, on Tobi's behavioral assessment at the shelter he did find his food bowl valuable and got a little grumbly with the assess-a-hand device. This seems to be situational and we don't anticipate it showing up once adopted, but to err on the side of caution we're looking for a home with kids age 10+.
