Meet Violet and Maizey (bonded Pair-sisters)

This frightened pair of young, bonded sisters were moved from a shelter to a foster home to be spayed and socialized. They are stunning little lionheads, just under 4 lbs. They will need a tranquil home with a patient adult who will enjoy the animated and comical movements of these sweet girls who need to stay together as all bonded rabbits are inseparable. They are used to their fosterer, but startle easily, so they would not do well with a large family, small children, or large dogs. They are used to two older, indoor only cats. And this pair should always be kept indoors where they will always be safe from the sight of predators.

Come meet this beautiful pair and other adoptable rabbits at our next monthly adoption event!

If you need more information about rabbits or would like to attend an adoption event, see the information below.

Come meet all of our fabulous foster rabbits! Because we do not have a shelter to introduce our foster rabbits and our volunteers have limited time to respond to all online inquiries, the best way to meet one of our rabbits is to attend our next adoption day. Sometimes people bond to a different rabbit in person than the one they choose online.

All rabbits are spayed/neutered (age permitting) and litter box trained. All rabbits are to be adopted to indoor homes only.

Current bunny parents are encouraged to bring their rabbits to adoption clinics if they are interested in adopting a companion rabbit. Your rabbit must be spayed or neutered to be eligible to meet one of our fosters. SHRS volunteers will be happy to help your bunny through that feisty first date.
