Teddy - Dayton, OH Chihuahua Dayton, OH

Hi everyone! My name is Theodore J Bear, but you can call me Teddy. I am as sweet and lovable as your childhood teddy bear, and my foster mommy says I have the most beautiful golden eyes she has ever seen. I am 8 years old, housebroken and very low key. In fact, my foster mom has never even heard me bark! I love to be with you but don't have to be on your lap, I just want to be near you. I have a Chihuahua foster sister and we get along great, probably because we are both 8 and spend most of our days hanging out relaxing. I love to take walks when the weather is warm and walk very well on my leash. It's also good exercise for me since my vet would like me to lose a pound or two since I weight 13+ pounds. I am still working on my basic commands, but since I was a stray I am doing pretty good at catching on. I love my rawhide free peanut butter bones and my healthy lean treats from the vets office. I also love to go bye-bye and meet new people when I'm out...Everyone always wants to pet me, spoil me and love on me! I am a little scared of thunderstorms, and I feel safest if you could let me sleep in bed under the covers with you. Actually I like to sleep there every night!

I am UTD on shots, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and recently had a dental cleaning. I do have a small heart murmer that doesn't require medicine. Other than my small heart murmer, my doctor says that I am EXTREMELY healthy :) I am such a sweet boy, and everyone always says that I am very special. Do you have room at your house and in your heart for me? If so I promise I will be your favorite 'Teddy Bear' ever!
